Octavius
The First Roman Emporer

Augustus Caesar of Rome was born with the name Gaius Octavius on September 23, 63 B.C. Octavius is Julius Caesar’s adopted son. He has a sister named Octavia who was Antony’s wife, but then Antony leaves her for Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt.

Octavius is important because he follows Caesar’s lead after Caesar dies and becomes the first Roman Empire. He is connected to Caesar and Calpurnia, because they are his adopted parents, he is also known to Lepidus and Antony because they are the three that end up controlling Rome before Octavius controls it by himself as an Emperor.
